Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is used to measure equipment losses:

• Availability is "The percent of time your machine or process ran while it was manned."
• Performance Efficiency is "How close to design rate did your machine run when it was available."
• Quality Rate is first time through quality or capability.
